A few years ago, I was 381 lbs, stuck in a cycle of binge eating, drinking too much, and feeling completely disconnected from the person I used to be. I had been fit once. Athletic. Driven. But life happened. Stress, work, burnout, and alcohol took over, and I let myself go. Every Monday, I told myself I’d start again. Every Friday, I felt worse than the one before.
The shame of starting over is real. But so is the power of choosing to do it anyway.
My name’s Steve Lutz, and I help people who feel like they’ve lost themselves take back their health—one small, sustainable step at a time.
I’ve lost 170 lbs without starving myself or doing anything extreme. No crash diets. No 75 Hard. Just real, honest effort layered over time—built on habits I could actually stick to.
Today, I’m a certified personal trainer and online fitness coach. But more than that, I’m someone who’s been there.
I coach from experience, not from a pedestal. And I believe the most powerful thing you can do isn’t overhauling your life overnight—it’s refusing to quit, even when progress is slow.
I work with men and women who’ve gained 25+ lbs in adulthood—often after being fit or active in the past.
